Reporting on Bankers Who Destroyed Their Companies
How do DUers feel about the reporting on the bankers who destroyed their companies? Has the news media explained what executives have lost their jobs and which have not lost their jobs? Do you feel the news media has done a good job in the reporting about the executives who destroyed their companies?

1. I doubt many would be thrilled with the prospect...

I'm curious as to why banks are being bailed out when, I still think, they are a symptom of a greater problem: Lost jobs. If workers can't pay back the banks due to a contracting economy/offshoring/whatever, it doesn't make much sense to bail out the banks without really good reasons. Oh, there are some, but the banks are not the whole issue. I have seen some great things done by the Obama Administration so far, but time will be the ultimate factor on the issue as a macrocosm.

Our economy is NOT trickle-down, can't really ever be, and even the most devout Republicans I know, who I agree with on a fair number of issues, now are against trickle-down. (Not because of anything I've said; they're living the results as much as the rest of us.)

2. The only thing that trickles down is wet, yellow and body temperature.
That's why we're called peons.
