My tribute to our fallen soldiers
I have this out in my yard for everyone to see. I think every house in the United States needs one of these.

1. Very nice, very powerful
Very World War Two/ending scene of Saving Private Ryan: Garand-style rifle, steel pot helmet, no bulky body armor.

Excellent.

3. Thank you!
I'm going to put one out at my restaurant too... I just hope it doesn't get stolen. I'm making a bunch of them though...

4. As it did mine....
True story.. I was coming back from the next town over the other day, and saw this in front of someone's house. I pulled in the driveway, knocked on the door and said to the guy who answered "I want that soldier out there, is it for sale"? $55.00 later, it was mine! The guy had a wood shop set up in his garage and did this and a few other small items. This work of art really moved me.. I would have paid double what I did for it, just to have it for the pattern... I want to spread these around everywhere!

Thanks for the K&R

5. Very moving
That brought tears to my eyes (as many things relating to the war seem to do these days). Thanks for sharing this powerful image with us.
