Can it get any worse for the GOP?

Republican popularity has sunk to its lowest point in the party's grand old history, according to new polls conducted by the New York Times, CBS, Wall Street Journal and NBC.

...today's Republican Party, which has held the executive branch for 20 of the last 28 years, garners less public approval than ever before.

/snip/

Democrats fared considerably better in both polls, earning the approval of 57 and 45 percent of the public, respectively. President Obama's ratings were even higher, at 63 and 56 percent.

My question:

If this is true, then why are Obama and the majority of Dems on The Hill governing as though they believe this?

Don't they realize that this popularity is not going to last if they don't start helping out someone besides Corporate America, their lobbyists and The Wealthy?

2. Because the plutocracy supports the policies of the GOP.
you don't have a vibrant democracy. You have a demoralized, underpaid and brainwashed population, fed with propaganda 24/7.

4. Goodness
Boner looks even more oddly hued than he usually does. Maybe his complexion changes with GOP popularity - like a lizard or those DHS color level alert thingies that used to seem important on the tee vee.
