I just read the local newspaper--something I avoid like the plague
Doing so confirmed that I shouldn't do it again--until America's media is taken back by the people.
Here's why (after reading the Chicago Tribune handed off to me by a colleague)
Poll: "Should Sarah Palin run in 2012?"
Response: "Yes" 73%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also: Daily hit job on Rod Blagojevich
And: "Cartoon" of robed MUSLIM scary people discussing Barack's date night. (NOT funny -- the cartoon makes no sense at all but it did give the Reich one more chance to put Obama and Muslim together once again. :eyes:)
2. Maybe it was because she did so well last time?
There might be some mischievous people who think that Palin should run so Obama will be able to defeat her despite losing a great deal of support from gay people and Open Medicare advocates.
3. I subscribed and canceled my local paper two or three times in 4 years.
Final time was 2 or 3 years ago and I haven't looked back since then.
They pissed me off continually plus it is a tiny piece of nothing anyway. I would start feeling like I needed the local news, subscribe, they hired Ann Coulter or something comparable and then I'd cancel again. RW rag with little to no actual news covered with RW headlines. gag.
