Laura Bush’s New Goals Include Issues Like Human Rights?!?

Laura Bush’s New Goals

Laura Bush may no longer be the first lady, but she's keeping her schedule busy. Politico reports that she's developing a "women's empowerment initiative" at the George W. Bush Policy Institute in Dallas. On Tuesday, she'll meet with 25 of her advisers, including former White House press secretary Dana Perino, the founder of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and her former chiefs of staff. The team will help Bush figure out how to continue work on her pet issue—human rights, education, and women's health.

2. Twenty-five of her advisors???? Twenty-five???
She's not First Lady anymore. WTF does she need with 25 advisors? (Or, more, evidently, since it's written "...25 of her advisors".) For the Love of God, GO AWAY, laura!!!!!!

6. This is Laura's moment to shine...
Edited on Tue Jun-09-09 10:52 AM by CoffeeCat
...as he tackles horrific human suffering an injusice!

Like the indignity that the Kennebunkport cocktail circuit faces when good Beluga caviar
starts to go bad at a buffet. Ohhhhh...the humanity!!!

And what about the yacht owners who are discriminated against and stereotyped--just because
they're billionaires. It's hell being hated just because you have a emerald-encrusted anchor!
Laura will allow her drive for justice to help these people overcome this suffering!!!
Dear God...bless Laura for her courage!

No other human being, besides Laura Bush would step up to the plate to help people who suffer
with diamond tennis bracelet chafing.

Laura stands alone in her bravery while everyone else turns a blind eye to this mad suffering!!

Shine on Laura!

7. For what it is worth she advocated for the rights of women in Afghanistan
during the Bush admin.

She is not as bad as her husband. I don't understand why she is still married to the guy,.

11. I thought that he lives in Crawford and she lives in Dallas
Edited on Wed Jun-10-09 10:50 AM by goclark

I read someplace that they didn''t live together.
Maybe it was in those nausty tabloids that get everything wrong -- like John Edwards and Gary Hart.

Has anyone seen photos of them together in Dallas?
