N. Korea Better Than U.S.?
So NK captures a couple of what they call spies on their border and then they give them a trial. Some justice. Not much probably, but some.

What we did was go to another country and capture what we considered spies, bring them half way around the world, lock them up and throw away the key, without ever seeing a judge.

Now who's better?

1. That only makes sense if you consider the NK "trial" to be worthy of the name
I think it makes more sense to interpret it as just another piece of the machinery of unjust detention. Are we supposed to be pacified by what was almost certainly a show trial?

2. At least
They got a trial. What we did was unjust. I wonder if the ladies got tortured?

3. So detention with no trial is worse than detention with a meaningless show trial?
Sounds to me like the outcome is predetermined in both cases. What's the difference exactly?

4. Difference?
We are not supposed to be even close in comparison. But we are down there with them now, eh?
