... what is that called? Not the act of putting TVs on everywhere, but putting FOX on the TV every-fucking-place.

12. I politely ask for the channel to be changed. And, it happens.

If you're a customer, and you ask for the channel to be changed, it changes. We requested a channel change while in a hotel lobby recently and the man checking in ahead of us thanked us. I also requested a channel change at my HMO...since I knew I'd be in the lobby for a while, and, again, people expressed their gratitude for the switch. And the gym where I workout (not often enough) gets requests all the time to NOT have Fox on the bank of TVs over the cardio equipment. But, hey, one TV on Fox is fine. There's plenty of other stations on for balance.
Just saw a clip of Hannity on The Daily Show stating Obama went to Egypt and expressed empathy for those who supported the 9-11 attacks. Of course, he didn't. Hannity only showed the first half of his statement. Last week O'Reilly claimed CNN failed to cover the shooting of two Army recruiters with the exception of Anderson Cooper. Totally false. CNN had over a dozen reports. A total lie.
So. Why shouldn't we request a channel change.

The owner of a private business has the right to play whatever he/she pleases. If you really don't like the channel, don't buy there anymore; that's the beauty of capitalism.

24. I always think about the current viewers, especially the "fence-sitters"....

who could be swayed into seeing the truth about the propaganda.

I LOVE henhousing and ambient brainwashing, but I don't think they'd get it. Henhousing would require explanation, ambient brainwashing is wayyyyyy too many syllables.

For those of us who are already onto Faux, those work beautifully, however. It's a matter of who the target audience is when coming up with catch phrases and words.
