1. thanks, I needed that.
I've been reading too many stories that make me tear up for opposite reasons.

9. I don't want to see those videos...
I don't want Dad to be over there in the first place. I want the kids to see Dad on a regular basis, rather than between deployments.

We can't afford an Empire... financially or socially.

13. The propaganda can be reversed easily
It's strong for us, weak for them. Point to these tearjerker reunions and make a note of how these children, the spouses and the babies, all need their mothers or fathers far more than Iraq does.

15. I'll be clearer...
in case you're dense.

I don't want the parent to be gone in the first place... making heartwarming videos of returns unnecessary. I'm not to anxious to see the pics of the dead and wounded come home, either. Better they should be home drinking beer and making love to their wives and/or girlfriends.

I don't want to see it because I don't want it to happen in the first place. It's a fucking waste.

14. Anybody notice?
The girl was wearing a shirt with a huge sparkly peace sign and peace sign earrings as well. Wonder if mom suggested she wear them knowing there would be publicity. Nice.
