It's been 100 years since I've been to ANY kind of show and I'm really excited to have a night out! The ticket was only $25!

I don't have IFC, but I've got a couple of seasons on DVD, along with a few of his shows. He was great during the previous administration, so I'm eager to hear his take on the state of the world these days.

You'll probably be getting a report when I get home tonight! The theatre website says amateur cameras are permitted at most shows, so I'm thinking of bringing mine and getting some pics to post. From what I understand, he's very accessible to his fans, so I might hang around a little while at "the back door"!

but thanks! One of the girls in my class, who's 22, was spouting off last night about 27 being old! I wanted to smack her in the back of the head! At one point, she asked me what the teacher had said and I replied that I'm over 27, so my hearing is shot. Snotty kid!

Last time he was in NJ, he was in Atlantic City. That's an easy 3 hour ride from where I am, which is on the Orange County, NY border. I had e-mailed him asking if he had any other NJ dates further north on his schedule and he actually replied! At that time, he said he probably wouldn't be doing anything here until 2010, so it was a nice surprise when I got the updated tour schedule message. From what I can tell on the seating chart, it looks like I've got a great seat. Should be a good time! I hope he's going to be extra angry! LOL

I'm hoping he's going to mix his political observations with some stories of his recent travels. I'll even let him get away with taking a cheap shot at NJ! The story of his Siberian train ride grosses me out and cracks me up at the same time.
