Jon Stewart just skewered Morning Joe
and their Starbucks prostitution. He's now tearing Cheney a new one.

1. Please clarify "Starbucks prostitution"
Sometimes I watch the Morning Joe, and other time I start the day without it.

Wassup w Starbucks?

3. Oh, FFS.

I hate these large chains, and the way everyone jumps on the bandwagon.

Our local morning news show went GaGa over Krispy Kreme a few years back.

I thought the free advertising wasn't fair.

In this case it isn't free but it's still obnoxious.

One more reason not to buy their product.

Thanks for the fill-in.

7. Dunno....seeing that 'Hot Now' sign come on....those hot glazed donuts melt in your mouth.
They totally perfected the Pavlovian dog response.

Remember, wait until the 'Hot Now' light turns on and they start rolling out their fresh, hot and gooey ones.
They totally disappear in your mouth.
Damn!

An, oh, their coffee is very good too!

I've never been into a store--they must have hired mad scientists!

11. I confess to having Pavlov's syndrome for the "Hot Now" sign
KK has been a local favorite here all my life (the home of KK is 40 miles N of here). God I love those hot fresh donuts!

14. That's the thing; In a lot of (most?) places these days they aren't "hot and fresh"...
...either there is no sign, or they treat it like an "open" sign (turn it on in the morning, turn it off at closing).

Maybe on their home turf and a few other places they keep to what made them successful in the first place, but elsewhere it's just another hack franchise.

6. Cheney just keeps on proving he's the most despicable, lying, corrupt (V)P ever.
We really scraped the bottom of the septic tank when we got him and the Smirking narcissist.

12. Having read Clarke's book published shortly after 9/11....
I SHOT off the couch last night when
Cheney blamed Clarke, a loud
"BULLSHIT" flying out of my mouth.

I think I scared my family....

He thinks we're STUPID!

10. Shame-faced admission here....
I take my 2 kids to Starbucks
about twice a week.

Probably spend about $16.00 a
week at Starbucks.

After seeing those Scarborough clips,
I am thinking of a boycott.

I could save about $65.00 a month!

(My two teens would be bummed, though...)
