When a person takes on the role of God to do what, apparently, his God could not or would not do, it can be said that that person has completely lost their moral compass and is pretending to BE God. "If God won't do it, I will."

Well, that's pretty fucking arrogant. You God's Right Hand Man, now, asshole? And now you're different than Al Qeida HOW?

These sites out there celebrating this murder, and we all know of at least one of them, are full of people who think they're GOD, or have the right to speak and ACT for God, since he's evidently too busy to get around to it Himself.

Okay, correct me if I'm wrong. Isn't that just about the most fucked up thing you can imagine? They don't worship God, they're a bunch of bloody, petty usurpers who are using the name of the most respected deity in the western world (leaving aside that it's a title, not a name) as an excuse to commit murder. Personally if I saw a guy strip naked and run down the street naked saying that God told him to do it, I'd hand him his pants and figure he was tripping on LSD or something. I'd try to get him some help. But deciding to blow someone away? My mind can't really encompass that shit.

You can't let a bunch of right-wing crazies who think they're fighting a war run around with weapons and kill people. You just can't. Anyone cheering it could be the next "big hero" for the cause. These sites are not only encouraging it, but they're the breeding ground for hundreds of potential killers, people who want to put on the Armor of God and Smite Evil.

Dude--go play a video game and smite evil that way. It's therapeutic. Really. What you're doing is just fucking nuts and, frankly, just plain evil.

You need to get off religion, man. It's really screwing up your head. Meth addicts have their shit together better than you do.

4. Religion is by far the most dangerous "drug" ever designed

People under the influence of GOD are far more destructive than those under the influence of LSD, PCP, or any of the "new" drugs such as Meth and Crack. (history is all the evidence I need)

This may sound strange coming from a Wiccan, but being a non-proselytizing faith based on the balance of nature, I suppose it is the pot in the mix, serving only to mellow one while occasionally causing a hunger to understand balance in nature rather than the blood edicts of some book.

The worst of the GOD hate crimes always seem to involve the need to enforce ones delusion (and rules gleaned from that delusion) on others.

Proselytization is the needle in the spoon IMHO.
