WHICH POLS complained about the DHS memo on homegrown terrorists?
Anyone else recall the hideous reaction from reich wing US senators, congressmen, and others (rush, sean, anne, michelle, etc) when the DHS issued a memo claiming that domestic reich wing groups posed a danger that must be dealt with?

Anyone else recall the MSM reaction, supporting (they were not even subtle about it) those reich wingers' call to recall that memo? And to apologize for it?

Anyone else recall the monstrous complaints directed to Dick Durbin, when he claimed that the evidence he saw about Abu Ghraib and Gitmo? And demanded that HE apologize?

Where are these assholes now? Where is Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, Kyl, Demint, Shelby, Sessions, Chamblis, Cornyn, Bachus, Barton, Lewis, Cole, Rohrabacher and others? Will any single one of them step up and state that their own years of rhetoric, lies, and spin have aided and abetted in the murder of Dr. Tiller? Will any of them apologize for their bitching about an accurate, honest and (unfortunately) prescient DHS warning about domestic terrorists? We know that answer to that, don't we?

And lastly, what about Billo O'Reilly? The Billo routinely targeted Dr. Tiller by name, coming close to calling for his removal from this planet. (see Bradblog for a list of billo's worst comments)
Will he say anything? Will he apologize? Will he retract his words about the DHS memo and admit that there are reich wingers who pose a danger to the safety of Americans? That we DO have a domestic danger festering and threatening us all? Of course not. If nothing else, Billo has no sense of responsibility nor honesty. If he were measured and weighed by the size of his integrity, Billo would be proof positive that string theory is accurate, and so small as to be unimaginable.

Yes, folks. Once again the reich wingers managed to change the news story to their own benefit. They forced DHS to remove an accurate portrayal of a canker sore festering in our community. They forced others to retract honest words. And they have so far avoided all responsibility for their actions, attacks and threats. But no longer. Dr. Tiller is the prime example of what happens when we let their words and attacks go unanswered.

Tiller should, and most likely will, become a rallying cry. What a crying shame that it took his death for that to happen.

1. The flip side of the question...
...is, Which pols cravenly caved in and retracted the report and watered down their rhetoric so as not to offend the poor, dear water-carriers of the rabid religious right.

Even after Obama's and the Democrats' resounding victory at the polls, and the widespread rejection of the Republican party, still our guys couldn't find the courage of their convictions.

Which tells me, they don't really have convictions. Just political calculations. Oh, they lean towards protecting our rights, including the right to a necessary medical procedure. Except when it's inconvenient, or in their estimation might make someone on the right mad. Then, they're busy backpedaling and doing everything in their power to avoid confronting the assholes who want to take women back to being second class citizens.
