Is That 21% Figure Of Right-Wing Zealots A Fixed Number?
Seems to me that the fringe over there in Freeperland is seeking to further marginalize themselves.

Has everyone with even a modicum of delta brainwaves abandoned this sinking ship? Or will this week's endless twaddle encourage even more evacuation over there?

1. I suspect that number will still drop a bit more. Even some freepers will finally begin to
see the light after shit like republicans voting AGAINST george w. bUsh's auto bail-outs, and then blaming Pres. Obama for the auto companies closing dealerships.

Yep, even some freepers will get tired of rush et al assuming they're stupid enough to fall for that unbelievably stupid shit.

4. I've often wondered that myself
I always thought the percentage should be in the teens, but if we can win 79% of all the votes in the presidential election and 79% of all the congressional seats, I'll be happy.

5. I think it's genetic
That 21% seems to be the irreducible minimum. There must be some evolutionary imperative that requires a certain number of primitives, who will be our salvation in the likely event that we end up living in caves again.

6. 20 percent of Americans are functionally illiterate and read below a 5th grade level.
The question is.........who are the 1%?

8. I think it's gonna hold, maybe creep up to 25
As long as Obama gets the economy running by fall 2010, the Republicans will have to get more moderate or accept long term minorityhood

9. It was stuck at 27 to 29 last year.
It seemed to take a big drop to 21 after the election. My take was the double of the Bush administration and Sarah. I know a lot of people who are Republicans but not pricks. When Sarah was named they bailed. I think they realized how fucked up Bush was then saw the Repubs trying to market a far right stupid female as the star and it made them realize they didn't have a home in the repub party.

p.s. the "normal" repubs I know that are evangelical Christians didn't bail.
