One response to Joe Scarborough I wish someone had the balls to say....
Edited on Thu May-28-09 11:22 AM by JohnnyBoots
"You know Joe, ... I'm really not going to listen to someone who left Congress because the police found a dead intern with her head bashed in his office."

I think that would wipe the smugness right off his face, why is this guy on TV? He is the quintessential GOP talking head, fake man of the people douchebag.

1. It would take more than balls.
It would take ignorance of US law and deeply rooted hatred. I hope it never happens.

5. I'd like to think we're above that, but ...
... it has put us at a disadvantage.

Seems that the Dems in Congress are still afraid of elephants.

9. The only motivation for those in Congress is reelection.
We should help their fears become reality.

10. I for one am tired of getting pushed around by the media who
shape public opinion for the corporations that own them. Utterly fustrating.

What really pisses me off is the music the show uses. All Liberals: Springsteen, JT, Jackson Brown, etc. they must have sold rights to songs to GE back in the day.

15. No, we repeatedly get punched in the face by the Right. We then
appologize to them and then ask them for another beating. Just look at our leadership in Congress. God forbid, we get aggressive and stand up for ourselves.

16. The line between being addicted to victimization and becoming a bully is distinct.
We can quit being candy-assed cowards without ripping into television personalities with unfounded accusations.

25. Politics is about perception. The louder and harder you insinuate things
the more it resonates in the mind of the country. Which in turn, makes it true - factual or not. Which is why there are Americans who still think Obama is a Muslim hell bent on destroying the USA. What abuse are you talking about? Verbal? They don't call politics a blood sport for nothing. Get a grip.

26. Yes, it was. Very ineptly. Here's some facts:
The results of the mandated autopsy, however, were deemed "inconclusive" by Dr. Berkland, who ordered more specific toxicology tests. These results were expected by the middle of the following week, around the first or second day of August. Dr. Berkland commented at the time "This turns over several puzzle pieces in the case of her death and reveals more of the picture".

Michael Berkland, it turns out, has a very interesting background himself. Recently relocated to Florida, it is a matter of public record that Dr. Berkland's medical license in the state of Missouri was revoked in 1998 as a result of Berkland reporting false information regarding brain tissue samples in a 1996 autopsy report. Berkland does not deny the charges.

It's also a matter of public record that he was suspended from his position as Medical Examiner in the State of Florida in July, 1999.

4. That is NOT fair
Joe didn't leave Congress because of Lori Klausutis he left because he cheated on his wife

Oh BTW the class of '92 had something like 24 marriages dissolve in the first term. This was both the men AND the women-they worked as a team and now it was PARTY TIME....there are lots of mid-to-late 20's guys and girls floating around DC. The Ritz-Carlton near Pentagon City is by itself like a buffet ;-)

39. Scarborough got off easy in the press compared to Gary Condit
Because he was a "R" and Condit a "D". I don't know if Scarborough was screwing Lori or if she found something suspicious but I do know the autopsy was royally fucked up. And Klausutis was the epitome of good health so it was highly unlikely that she keeled over and hit her head as a cause of death.

It turns out that Condit was finally exonerated. With Joe, we'll never know.
