What good is an open seat on the Supreme Court with out a big fund raising campaign
It doesn't matter what Judge Sotomayor is or isn't. It doesn't really matter if a head count shows 65 votes for her in the Senate tomorrow.

Republicans up for reelection in 2010, with the possible exception of the senators from Maine are going to vote against this nominee. They are going to paint everything they feel evil about liberals on her.

They and countless numbers of right wing groups need the headlines to send out to fleece the flock: Send $50, $100, $200 or $500 to help me/us stop the next Gun Grabbing, Baby Killing, God Hating, Terrorist Loving, Obama appointment to the Supreme Court!
