......after the Sotomayor announcement today, she told one of my co-workers: "I guess there's no place for white people in the Obama administration."
Naturally, she didn't say this to me (I'm black, plus I try to keep conversations with her to "hi", "bye" and "Nice weather today"). But she told a colleague, a white female who Fundie Lady knows is one of my best friends at work, clearly with the intent of getting the message to me indirectly. My co-worker responded, "Really? Somebody better tell Biden, Clinton, Geithner, Summers, Napolitano, Sebelius and the majority of the cabinet." As usual, Fundie Lady had little to rebut with.
It just amazes me how people with Fundie Lady's mentality see an administration that, GASP!, actually looks like America and decide that it's un-American - it's minorities taking away their God-given right to be disproportionately dominant in all leadership positions. The 21st century must really suck for these miserable a**holes.
