Woman attacks man, dog attacks woman

MANATEE — A woman who reportedly attacked her boyfriend was attacked by her own dog during the fight.

According to a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office incident report, the couple got into a verbal fight on Thursday at about 9 p.m. and she slapped him in the face.

The woman’s dog, a pit bull, bit her on her legs while she attacked her boyfriend, the report states. The woman sustained multiple scratches and puncture wounds to her legs.

The woman refused to be treated by Manatee County Emergency Medical Services but took herself to a local hospital for treatment, the report continues.
