When to make war

War is quite possibly the most hellish, atrocious and evil creation of man.
It takes the trauma of murderous violence and multiplies it exponentially,
pounding it upon those involved until they are dead, or mutilated,
or their minds are broken shells.
That anyone would enter their country into a war of choice, or profit, or conquest,
or any reason whatsoever other than every other option has been thoroughly, completely
and utterly exhausted,
is soulless, mad, and inhuman.

inhumane, yes. inhumnan? no, it's sadly all too human.

2. No, it's inhuman. Wars are a systemic tool.

They depend on people subsuming their humanity into one cause or another.

it's uniquely human in the animal kingdom. it's a strong human trait. war is a human creation.
