Poll question: Why does Cheney want to keep Gitmo open?
Today the talk has been about how Cheney opposes closing Gitmo, but no one is asking why.

So, here it is.

2. The people at Gitmo are too damaged for people in the real world to see.
We will know the whole story by looking at them and Shooter knows it.

5. Probably some combonation of the above, but I think it should stay open..
We have to put some of those people somewhere, and IMO Guantanamo is seems like a good enough place.

8. Because people like Cheney (and Limpballs, etc) are saying so.
Congress can go along with them and say that they're listening to the people.

Cheney is as immaterial now as he was when he was in office.
