All of us here on DU thought it was Archer Daniels Midland...but Lou says Las Vegas importer WITHOUT NAMING THE COMPANY!

So WHO is this Las Vegas Importer?

Figures...doesn't it. Just focus on China and not the American "Perp" who bought the stuff or went looking for the "CHEAPEST" supplier. Dobbs is good in reporting this but is it a "Red Herring" to distract us from the fact that ADM is the only company who didn't answer when aked if THEY were THE Supplier?

Now we "internet Researchers" are supposed to go chasing an "Unknown/Unidentified" Las Vegas Supplier as the REAL CULPRIT IN DEATHS OF PETS...that is counted like Iraqi Civilian Deaths? :shrug:

The contaminated Chinese wheat gluten that led to the recall of pet food ended up only with manufacturers of food for animals, company officials said Tuesday.

The Chinese wheat gluten imported by ChemNutra Inc. went to companies that make pet foods, Stephen Miller, chief executive officer of the Las Vegas company, told The Associated Press.

Miller would not say which companies ChemNutra supplied.
