Stunning, often disheartening collection of Iraq reporters' commentary, plus heartbreaking pix

it's been out a while, but this reporting from the Columbia Journalism Review is revealing and disturbing...

standout oddity: in one of the photos of an iraqi man detained by marines, there appears to be a white dove just above his head.
it's not faked or photoshopped...there's a dove over this man's head.
