Obama Gitmo Plan: FBI Director Disses, Court Kisses, Senate Pisses
FBI Director Robert Mueller told the House Judiciary Committee today that he is concerned that some of the 240 detainees at the prison camp could support terrorism if sent to the United States, including providing financial aid to terror networks, radicalizing fellow prisoners, or even taking part in attacks.

The Associated Press also reports that a federal judge ruled Tuesday night that the Obama administration can continue to hold some detainees at Gitmo indefinitely without any charges. US District Judge John Bates ruled that Congress, after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, gave the president the authority to hold anyone involved in planning, aiding or carrying out the attacks.

The Senate, voted 90-6 this afternoon to pass an amendment that would bar any detainees coming to the United States until Obama presents a detailed plan. For now, they are rebuffing the president's request for $80 million to close Guantanamo by his first anniversary in office in January. The House last week took a similar step as it approved funding for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

1. "until Obama presents a detailed plan"
I could be wrong, but it would seem that having a plan for what to do with them might be a good idea.

3. Good.
I hope that it's comprehensive so that many of these questions are put to rest.
