I'm listening to radio coverage out of Los Angeles now, and I lived there myself for fifteen years, plus five years in NorCal.

If there are aftershocks, whatever you do, don't run outside. Just stay put.

2. I run outside unless the buildings are multistory.

If I can get fifty feet or more away from a 20 foot high structure, I'm feeling safer.

Every case is different. No single rule covers all circumstances.

3. This is a followup to Sunday's 4.7. No biggie. Very mild shaking here

in the west San Fernando Valley.

But I am concerned that somebody down there is waking up and gonna make BIG trouble in the not-too-distant future.
