Credit card reform--final vote TOMORROW
I just took action to rein in the banks' attacks on their own customers. Credit card reform is about to pass in the Senate today, and gets a final vote in the U.S. House TOMORROW! But the banks are pulling out all the stops. They've got a front page story in today's New York Times claiming that these new rules are bad for responsible card customers. That's malarky, but they hope to scare lawmakers at the last possible minute. I took a moment to tell my Representative to support this bill because its good for responsible card holders and good for our economic recovery.

1. Theres more than enough Dems in the House to pass this
Not only is the legislation so watered down passage doesnt mean much, but theres really no worry it wont be approved by the House.
