One person confirmed dead after CNN Center shooting
POSTED: 3:29 p.m. EDT, April 3, 2007

ATLANTA, Georgia (CNN) -- One person has died following a shooting Tuesday at the CNN Center complex, in what Atlanta police called a "domestic situation," according to hospital spokeswoman Denise Simpson.

A woman was shot and the gunman was then shot by a Cpt. Odell Adams, who joined Turner Security in 1996, according to a Turner spokesperson.

The woman was pregnant, witnesses told The Atlanta Journal Constitution.

The man and the woman were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. Simpson did not say which had died, citing the need to notify next of kin. The other is in "extremely critical condition," the hospital said. (Watch bleeding victim on floor, suspect at gunpoint )

How horrible. Women are at the greatest risk of domestic violence whern they are pregnant. :(
