Where was the Repub Outrage Over Valerie Plame???
they seem so obsessed with the goodness of the CIA

where was the outrage when an actual covert CIA agent working against Iran had her identity surrendered to the enemy during a time of war?

I think that point needs to be made and brought up in the lexicon of arguments going on now.

where was the republican outrage then?

2. It's almost like you're calling them hypocrites

3. She's a woman, so it doesn't count.
She was just someone's secretary, after all. And he husband was causing political problems for Generalissimo El Busho - so she had to be destroyed.

4. Oh, she was just a desk jockey at CIA and "everybody" knows it.
I think Joey Scar said that last week at some point in the brouhaha over Pelosi.

5. Loss of VP = Loss of KNOWLEDGE about WMD = Grave Threat to U.S. = Treason.
So file this one along with other missing outrages, under Treason:

1. Nixon delaying President Johnson's almost complete negotiations with the ENEMY, Vietnamese, in order to secure victory over Humphrey.

2. Reagan bargaining with the ENEMY, Iran, to delay a deal over the hostages, in order to defeat Carter, and then later allowing Ollie North et al to sell the ENEMY weapons in exchange for the hostages, contravening the expressed will of Congress.

3. Bush dealing with the Sunnis, who were/are killing our soldiers, to delay the "Sunni Awakening" (read that $$$$$$$$$$$$ for 'peace') at least 3 years, to syinch it up with his (FAILED) torture program to get the Saddam H/al Quaeda link.

And those are just the TREASONS we know about . . . .

:grr: :grr: :grr: . . .

6. Get this: In twisted Torture Party world, they tried to use Plame to prove their point...
In one of the most surreal attempts at a defense I've ever seen, one of the fucking idiots at our evil parallel-universe sight actually tried to make the case that since we think the CIA is full of liars, it only proves that Plame couldn't be trusted anyway, and was probably a liar, so deserved to be outed.

But wait...I thought their case was that Pelosi was lying about the CIA lying. So now the Plame lied so it proves Pelosi is...uh...not lying, or lying? I'm so confused. They don't even realize how stupid they're coming across. The hole being dug isn't by Pelosi. It's by her attackers.

8. Excellent point! I don't know why the Left isn't using this as a talking point. It would
blow and Right indignation out of the water!

9. You can drive yourself crazy
trying to apply logic to Republicans. They don't use it.

It's like my mother -- God rest her soul. She lived next door to a woman and her daughter who were insane (seriously mentally ill). They did the most bizarre things. My mother was always trying to figure out what they were doing and why. She would call me up and say things like "They are doing (such and such). Why are they doing that?"

I would have to tell her every time "They are mentally ill. Nothing they do makes any sense, except to them. Stop trying to figure it out."

But she did, because I'd get another call a few days later. She was driving herself batty trying to apply normal logic and reasoning to the random acts of two mentally disturbed people.

The Republican base is now composed of three groups of people -- thieves, racists, and the mentally deficient. Trying to apply logic is futile.

11. They managed to find a reason for a little outrage then, too.
But naturally it was another phony, self-serving misdirection - Did Valerie Plame lie about recommending her husband for the trip to Niger?

No, of course not, and who cares but the question was enough for republican posturing.

13. She was just a high paid secretary didn't ya hear?
:sarcasm:

They outed a CIA agent and the CIA really didn't do an impressive job standing behind her...but the CIA is outraged that Nancy says they are lying....:banghead:
