I can tell you first hand that those bible verses never went out to the field
It was something done by Rummy's staff in the Pentagon alone

That's all I can say about that

1. Doesn't make it any better, even if that's true.
Supposedly a Muslim analyst was not happy.

And it's out there now.

16. They send religious nuts out to the field to give briefings
It comes down from a policy angle, mostly through chaplains

My reference was not literal but a reference to the highly Evangelical charge
that their academy has had from time to time.

9. The 'extent of the damage' being
that they took advantage of bush's religious 'inclination' to carry on with war.

8. No, they were just cover sheets for Porgie's little Ivory Tower brief.
Doesn't matter. I don't blame the muslim analyst for getting irritated, either. That staff must have been a hellhole in that timeframe.

13. o Mr Scorpio do you think it's likely that Crawford
or Cheney's spiderhole was where they signed what the cia demanded concerning harsh treatment? If so would that, technically, somehow turn into a loophole for either? Am I now a grey lizard...?

19. not to you-but to THEM
& I also think leg work was also done privately & extensively so; but for the Neocon MIND, seeing how they go about things, I feel there might be a tangle0foot trap there for them. I realized how much they were looking at it all from a defense-lawyers point of view when they carted out 19thC crap-but. Tired ghosts perhaps know.....

Soldiers in Afghanistan given Bibles, Told to "Hunt people for Jesus".

A report by Al Jazeera English shows soldiers in Afghanistan passing around Bibles in Pashto and Dari, the languages of Afghanistan, presumably to be distributed. The chaplain leading the discussion acknowledges that “proselytizing” is against military rules, but one soldier says, “you can give gifts“:

But in another piece of footage taken by Hughes, the chaplains appear to have found a way around the regulation known as General Order Number One.

“Do we know what it means to proselytise?” Captain Emmit Furner, a military chaplain, says to the gathering.

“It is General Order Number One,” an unidentified soldier replies.

But Watt says “you can’t proselytise but you can give gifts“.

US Soldiers Handing Out Swahili Bibles in Iraq, In Defiance of Regulations

May 8, 2009

"Here's yet more video evidence of Christian groups using soldiers to proselytize Muslims in a war zone, this time in Iraq. The video is of an Army chaplain and officer, Capt. Chris Rusack, talking about raising money to ship bibles in Swahili to soldiers in Iraq so they can use them to convert Ugandan aid workers. And he talks about how the shipment of those Bibles to Iraq was held up by "the enemy" - meaning the military, which knows it's a violation of regulations to do this - until a high-ranking Colonel made sure they got distributed."

20. Only 12th House priests would be so insane
I am through with being silent, let that sun thru & let it burn too. The entire history of humans is wrapped up preetty nicely & well-dated too; the Old Testament IS the Torah/Korah(n), I hope billions quickly come to realize reality this madness is SO revolting.

What exactly do Christians think they are SAVED FROM? Knoweledge? Mullah=one in front, THAT is obvious too & it ISN'T his congregation, let me tell you. "prince of peace"-PLEASXE z(I'll keep the typos), princepes...........As for those --------rb---------I don't care if they insist on saying it's rabbi OR arab they're the same to me, only family can hate like that & they BOTH say they came from 'Abraham'. It's high past time someone sit them down & tell them point blank: YOU MUST LEARN TO LIVE WITH EACH OTHER-no ifs, no ands, & yes I know real deaths have occurred & real suffering & THAT is why they need to be told.

22. It was for Bush's daily briefing. There's a story about it not being done since 2003 onMSNBC.com.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/30814527/

"WASHINGTON - The Pentagon said Monday it no longer includes a Bible quote on the cover page of daily intelligence briefings it sends to the White House as was practice during the Bush administration."
