ABC: according to "unnamed sources" Iran could have nukes by 2009
http://blogs.abcnews.com/theblotter/2007/04/exclusive_iran_.html

Iran has more than tripled its ability to produce enriched uranium in the last three months, adding some 1,000 centrifuges which are used to separate radioactive particles from the raw material.

The development means Iran could have enough material for a nuclear bomb by 2009, sources familiar with the dramatic upgrade tell ABC News.

The sources say the unexpected expansion is taking place at Iran's nuclear enrichment plant outside the city of Natanz, in a hardened facility 70 feet underground.

4. That CIA report is outdated.
It was based on the assumption that Iran did not have a clean source of fluorine.

But apparently somebody sold them some awhile back.

I wouldn't be surprised in the least if Iran had a bomb within a year or two.

Not that this ABC report isn't propaganda.

2. Are these the same "some people" Couric mentioned in her interview with the Edwards's?
Some people think some journalists who insist on citing "some people" deserve some punishment.

5. Haven't we been here before...
"Unnamed Sources".

But this would be convenient, coming just one year after the '08 "election." Maybe they'll postpone that to avert the "crisis."

8. And with Iran's geography and prospective enemies, can you blame them?
US in Iraq=nukes. Israel=nukes. China=nukes. Russia=nukes. N Korea=nukes<?> UK=nukes. Pakistan=nukes. India=nukes. And Goddess know who else in that region has them.
I personally dont want to see nukes in a nation run by religous fanatics, but hell man... look where they sit!

All nations should disarm along the lines of nuclear weapons!
