Huffington Poo generating LOTS of Google traffic with misleading story
GM Dealer Closing List: SEE FULL LIST But you won’t see the GM Dealer Closing List: SEE FULL LIST here because it’s not out yet. Nor does GM plan to release any list of dealers notified that they are not having their franchise renewed in 2010.

UPDATED: GM Dealerships Closing, SEE THE LIST

The list of the 1,100 dealerships that GM is closing has begun to trickle in. On Friday, GM dealerships across the country began receiving FedEx packages indicating which franchises will be shut down. GM announced that it will close nearly one quarter of its U.S. dealerships.

GM, however, isn't publicly disclosing the list of dealerships that will be shuttered. The Huffington Post is compiling the closed dealerships as we receive them from readers.

Help us compile all 1,100 closing dealerships! If you hear of any GM dealerships closing in your area, email us at

1. The Huffpo headline doesn't say "full" list, it just says 'list' and there is one.
What's misleading??

2. First, Google this: GM Dealer Closing List: SEE FULL LIST
Then look at the bottom of the story it self at the links that say see full list.

On Friday and Saturday the headline read "see full list".

3. Not seeing a big deal here
If it indeed used to say "See full list" and there isn't a complete list, well, so what? I see far more misleading info in my local newspaper every day. Nothing more than a minor irritant at worst.
