I saw a news report on this subject the other day. The woman can hide where she lives and other places that she goes but she can't hide her place of work. A woman in Florida was recently killed at work by her estranged or divorced SO.

:cry: My ex-husband tried to kill me and he stalked me and my friends for months before I could get the divorce. It was horrible.

I'm really glad to still be here! I never thought something like that would happen to me (a college educated licensed professional) He had two bachelors and a masters degree and worked as a systems analyst for a major university. Go figure. He turned out to be a real nutcase.

When he was tasered (or was it a "shock belt"? something like that), the cops were there to help him up, not throw him down on the concrete, put him in a submission hold, and cuff his wrists.

When he got "thrown off a cruise ship", it was a dinky little 40-foot motorboat, and the coast guard was informed of the event beforehand. He did not demonstrate the effects of falling 50+ feet into the water with no certainty of rescue.

When he was tortured, he was not kept indefinitely in a tiny cell in an unknown location, nor was his family threatened with similar treatment unless he divulge certain information which he may or may not have known.

If he were demonstrating "shot", he'd have the shooter use a bb gun and get a full paramedic team on hand.
