Jonathan Ross in new row over 'homophobic comments' made on his Radio 2 show
Jonathan Ross was under fire again last night after he was accused of homophobia over comments made on his Radio 2 show.
Ross, 48, suggested parents should put their sons up for adoption if they wanted a Hannah Montana MP3 player.

A number of listeners complained to the broadcasting watchdog, claiming the comments on his programme on Saturday were homophobic.
Ross was involved in a light-hearted discussion about prizes in a competition themed around the fictional teen pop star when he joked: ‘If your son asks for a Hannah Montana MP3 player, you might want to already think about putting him down for adoption before he brings his...erm...partner home.’

A spokeswoman for Ofcom was unable to say how many people had complained but said: ‘We have had complaints. We are assessing those complaints against the broadcasting code.’

2. He's one of those figures that befuddle me. How is he still a public voice
I was in the UK in the late 80s and he was a smarmy pipsqueak then...hell, even his hair is stuck in the Duran Duran, Flock of Seagulls era. He's an annoying prat. At least Graham Norton has an interesting show...

3. Jonathan Ross is clueless. He has had some great guests
on his show, but Ross doesn't have much of a character of his own. He should NOT try to be funny. That was an awful comment and he should know better. Ross has benefited from the popularity of openly gay guests like John Barrowman, but he still thinks homophobia is funny?

6. I feel another suspension and on-air apology coming on... at the least.
He might end up resigning... unlike broadcasting regulators in the USA, OFCOM in the UK does have teeth and they use them. Personally OFCOM's teeth IMO are not sharp enough, under the days of the IBA regulation was a lot stricter.
