What are they hiding?
With more and more Republicans in Congress and the Senate calling for Gonzalez to resign, I just don't understand why the mis-administration is so determined to keep him. He's hanging by his fingernails and Waxman is breaking out the pliers.

I can't figure it out? Is Gonzo that desperate for a job? Does he think that what Bush has done to our economy will result in him having to take a job as a Wal-mart greeter? Is it just bull-headed stubbornness? Does he need a few more months for his 401K to become vested?

You'd think by now, the mis-administration would be able to see the writing on the wall. Gonzo has no credibility, and the smart thing to do would be to cut their losses, turn Gonzo out to the cold, try to put this behind them and move on. So...Why the desperate cling to this AG?

Then it occurred to me like a vision burnt across the sky. The reason they can't let Gonzo go is because he "knows where the bodies are". What must they be trying to hide? I think they are petrified that a new AG would come in and be shocked by the skeletons rattling around the drawers, closets, files and e-mail servers of the Justice Department. There must be some seriously criminal shit he's covering up for them.

I've come to the conclusion that they can't let Gonzo go, because they are scared that the shit they've pulled at Justice for the last 6 years might make it out in the open.

Cockroaches just hate having the light shined on them.

3. If he's out of office , it will be more difficult to keep him from
testifying in even more horrendous exposure and hearings in his future - even civil investigations into torture and vote thefts? Or how about law suits over 9-11? Keep him protected by keeping him off the record.

5. So is the plan for Bush to never leave office?
I mean, barring declaration of Martial Law (and no, I'm not quite ready to jump on that conspiracy train), he's out in a little less than 2 years.

Unless they bring in some industrial strength shredders, the shit they've been doing is going to come out.

Could be that Bush may have thought the Repukes would never lose power and that they'd continue covering up his crap, or he really is trying to bring about the Rapture.
