Hasn't Cheney just implicated himself in knowing in real time the details
of individual torture sessions when he says that he knows that one of the detainees didn't talk before he was tortured the first time, or until the 83rd time?

It's one thing to argue that torture is either okay or even efficacious, but to declare that you knew exactly when it wasn't working yet - isn't that an admission you'd just as soon not see read back to you in an indictment?

1. Yep
He knows that any full and judicial investigation will find him guilty.

So he is trying to politicize the investigation hoping he can deflect sentiment away from a full and judicial investigation.

3. Cheney already said that he kept files on all the
detainees.

I just wish someone would tell him that the Republican party lost the last election and policy changes are taking place as I type.

Imagine that fucker said Gitmo is a great facility.

6. "Yes. But Jr. ultimately signed off on the torture."
'I'ze just following orders.'

Yet another episode of Cheney going hunting and shooting an old friend.

7. I'm sure he felt...
...that if the president says it ok, it's legal. Felt, being the operative word.
