Powell More Popular Than Cheney & Limbaugh together lol.
Yesterday, former Vice President Dick Cheney made the point that he'd rather have Rush Limbaugh as spokesman for the Republican party than Colin Powell.

Tonight, the DNC had some fun pointing out that Powell's approval rating (80%) is higher than that of Cheney (18%) and Limbaugh (26%) combined.

2. People forget his ridiculous testimony at the UN.
We leave him alone and just hammer Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and the rest. Powell gets a pass from everyone for some reason.

3. That's good!
Glad to see the DNC is still countering the republican talk machine.
I do think Powell should be accountable for his behavior at the UN. He certainly lost a lit in my eyes.

4. here is their problem.....
instead of listening to their members who genuinely WANT to see them survive and be able to come back from the wilderness, the reaction is that people like powell, who besides his display at the UN has spent his life working FOR this government and this country, and others like him who truly want to help their party, they want to push them out. In the end it's going to have to go one of two ways.... either the more moderate republicans are going to have to take control of the party, or they are going to have to leave and start their own party. it's sad to see the ones who sincerely want to help be pummelled by the people that could not really give a rats ass....

i have two kids. 10 and 3. and it's funny, because when they don't like what they hear from me, they will go ask their father. now, if he were to give them what they wanted, then they would just go to him from now on so they don't have to be told no or not get what they want. but does that make it right? these clowns need to actually look at what they are doing here. alienating everyone that they need to get the independents. if they aren't careful, then they will have the crazy rightwing nutjobs and everyone else will just ignore them. because the crazy rightwing nutjobs might help them in a few southern regional areas, but it won't get them the majority or the white house.
