Pipe bomb, KKK flag, guns seized in Rapides Parish raid

BALL -- A man has been arrested on weapons and drug charges after a pipe bomb, an assault rifle and methamphetamines were seized at his residence in the Ball area, authorities said today.

A KKK flag also was found in the raid, police said.

The suspect, Jeff Duncan, 51, of 25 M.C. Richey Road in the Ball area, faces several charges, including manufacturing a pipe bomb, according to Metro Narcotics officials with the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office.

The pipe bomb was active, police said, and bottles of gunpowder were found.
