A fellow DUer's excellent post got me to thinking about how the basic process of decisionmaking itself might have evolved along with how complex our environment is.

If I don't do what I feel is right, I can't sleep well at night, and I beat myself up for bad decisions mercilessly for years on end.

To be honest, I can't really say until I'm faced with a specific situation. I've done some of several of the above.
