Wow! Tweety is sure po'd at Specter. Methinks that
Tweety decided not to run for PA Senator because Specter had such longevity in that seat. Tweety's anger is really evident--calling Specter a "turncoat." Very derisive in his tone for someone who is supposed to be uncovering a story.

1. He's been pretty transparent...
He's been taking this entire situation personally since it was announced, and he's not good at hiding it.

3. But why?
Did he forgo candidacy out of deference to Specter being there and considering himself to be a "pal?" It's a weird vibe he's giving off.

6. He did not think that he could beat Specter..upstart dem vs longstanding Arlen
BUT.. now that Arlen's a wishy-washy dem, stepping on his own tongue hourly, Tweety probably thinks he "coulda-woulda"shoulda"..but he's said no, and renewed his contract...next time around, he'll be too old to be a first-timer..

7. Politics is about personality to him. He likes a 'guy-guy' as president, hence his support of GWB.

2. Yep - he backed down and seems sorry that he did, and angry about this new deal.

5. Tweety has been off his feed this week.
First he was furious about the critics of the Irish-American monopoly of fire departments as evidenced in that discrimination case brought by an Italian-American. Wow. I thought he was going to punch Joan Walsh in the snoot. Now this.
