In my opinion, Sessions is totally wrong. An avowed homosexual judge by definition has their values system screwed up. Would we allow an out-and-proud alcoholic judge or an out-and-proud druggie judge (remember, for most of our history, homosexual sodomy was a crime). I think it shows a major lapse in judgement.

Damned disappointed in Sessions. You either fight these socialist bastards or give up your seat to someone who will.

Sen. Jeff Sessions (Ala.), the ranking Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee, said Wednesday he could consider a gay nominee for the nation’s highest court.

Sen. Jeff Sessions (Ala.), the ranking Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee is a complete moronic idiot and needs to go then. Him and all 535 members of the House and Senate.

Can’t we just file a massive class action against the Federal Government for violation of the Constitution.

Hey, while we’re at it...why choose someone with a law degree? Why not a hairdresser?

The lib side doesn’t seem to know the law anyway.

Actually, gay doesn’t bother me. It’s the lib part that scares me.

2. I loved this one......
"Hey, while we’re at it...why choose someone with a law degree? Why not a hairdresser?"

Or better yet an actor, we all know repubs love their actor politicians, they seem to have so many.

3. It's been a tough year for them on this issue
They just dealt with the first governor in the US to sign a marriage equality bill, the second legislature to pass one, and earlier, the first unanimous state supreme court vote for the same. And in a "heartland" state, no less.

The wingnuts smell eventual defeat on this issue at the level of the highest Court in the land, they're desperate to push that day off as far as possible.
