Tancredo throws in his ignorant racist hat into the ring - announces presidential run.

My wonderfully ignorant and racist House member Tom Tancredo (CO-6) just announced he will in fact run for the Presidency in 2008.

It took me a minute to digest this and I've come to the conclusion that this can only help us come November 4, 2008.

What better to divide the Republican party than to have an extremist racist that has a huge following with racist groups such as the KKK, The CCC and SOS

Granted the man won in my district for a disgusting 3rd time but we all know the country as a whole isn't as ignorant as those that voted for him last November in CO-06.

Tancredo declares for presidency

Colorado Republican Congressman Tom Tancredo declared his candidacy for the 2008 presidential election this morning on a radio talk show in Des Moines, Iowa.

Tancredo's candidacy will be focused almost entirely on immigration issues, which he hopes to bring to the forefront among the leading Republican candidates of Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney and Sen. John McCain.

The Littleton Republican is one of the nation's most outspoken critics of allowing Mexicans to cross the border and obtain jobs in the United States. He is a staunch supporter of erecting an impenetrable fence along the 2,000-mile border. He also supports returning all undocumented workers back to Mexico.

Put aside the statements like "We should Nuke Mecca" or "Miami is like a 3rd world country" and think more along the lines of what his campaign can do to hurt the already weak group of candidates the Republicans have given their constituents.

Let's get Tancredo on every talk show around to spout his ridiculous views on immigration and explain to his followers how Giuliani feels about it or how McCain sponsored an immigration bill with Ted Kennedy of all people.

So I say Good Luck to you Mr. Tancredo. Good luck in splintering your already divided party and sinking its approval ratings even further down in the eyes of any American who can think for themselves. And for the rest of those unable to do so... Good Luck to you in showing them just how much the other candidates hate America so they'll refuse to vote for whichever horrible candidate that wins the primary come 2008.

1. I can't wait for the Republican primary debates.
They will have to seat the audience on stage and the candidates in the ampitheater.

3. Guaranteed his home in Colorado was at least partially built by illegal immigrants
That's just the way it is here, and it makes the housing developers obscenely rich.

6. Oh yes!
Tancredo put a $60,000 addition on his house -- including a "theatre" room -- and the contractor hired nothing BUT illegals. When asked if he had checked worker documentation, he said it wasn't his job.

Ack!

8. Amen!
My district too. He hasn't said he wouldn't run. Hopefully CO-06 voters will wake the hell up and get rid of this guy. I'm just glad the House elects every 2 years!
