"Going Forward"
If I hear one more person use that phrase I'm going to set my hair on fire......

:nuke:

That's all

(Someone on the AP radio news discussing the Chrysler-FIAT marriage used it - "I think this is the best deal possible going forward" or something to that effect)

1. "Going forward" and never looking back. It makes me sick.

3. It'll never rise to the level of "thinking outside of the box", but yah.

4. "Going forward" is idiotic corporate speak.
The latest corporate speak phrase used by the financial corporate idiots is "green shoots" and "flowers" to describe promising areas of the economy. If I hear THOSE terms one more time, I'm going to 'shoot' myself!

5. Oh Praise Jahaysuss!
I thought I was the only one driven up the wall by this. What is it about trendy phrases that take hold in the MSM vernacular that's SO annoying? A couple others:
"..brings to the table"
"..thrown under the bus" :banghead:

6. It is definitely the latest empty corporate-speak fad
and like most of them, it means absolutely nothing. Where else are you going to go but forward?
