1. I had to laugh at the snippet they showed live.
Some yahoo said "unlike liberals, I pay my taxes" (he forgot about Joe the Plumber), then asked a question about what should be done right now. Eric Cantor launched into an answer involving the need for tax cuts for corporations and rich people that MSNBC mercifully cut away from.

So, in 30 seconds worth, what did we see? (1) A gratuitous, hypocritical swipe at "liberals"; (2) calls for tax cuts for corporations and rich people.

That's not rebranding we can believe in!

3. The GOP does not know how to listen to the "common people"
They have to have command and control of the situation. A town hall meeting for the GOP is a joke. It reminds me of a manager I once had who said, "I believe in teamwork as long as everyone does what I say." :eyes:

6. The only rebranding was
taking off the suits. Freaking hilarious.

2. Damn, I wanted to see more
What I saw was some old white guy talking about taxes being too high. That's new?

5. The other funny thing is the idea that they are "listening to the people".
That doesn't work in an echo chamber. All that their "people" have to say is whatever they heard Rush say on the radio yesterday.
