WATERBOARDING: Its Not Torture!! Hannity, Coulter, Rush, O'Rielly ~ Time To Fess Up!!
Edited on Sat May-02-09 01:07 AM by shintao
Hannity, Rush, O'Rielly & Coulter have implied that waterboarding is fun, surely not torture, so I have attempted to contact each of these subjects and make them an offer to be waterboarded, and would like others to donate to Olbermanns $1,000.00 a second fund if we can get him inspired, money that could be donated to any childrens charity of the four subjects choice. And it would be the best entertainment per buck the left could ever hope for. They are not replying, so I think Olberman will have to make the challege for the four righty heros to join the liberal fun.

So here is the proposal I have sent Hannity & Coulter. I will pay you $100.00 each to be waterboarded for 5 minutes, on the K. Olbermann show. And of course it would be nice if media would join in to collect donations from eager donors like myself who is betting they can't last 5 minutes.

Here is Coulters latest, comparing waterboarding to a collage hazing. Come on Ann, 5 minutes of waterboarding!!!

Thank you & pass the idea along!!

WARNING: These are not exact quotes below..

Coulter: It is like college hazing.
Limbaugh: It isn't torture if you survive it.
Hannity: It isn't torture.
O'Reilly: Torture, my ass.

2. eBay auction off the job of torturing them
and you'd see some REAL cash tossed around.

4. I'll post the first bid for the Coulter waterboarding!
I just watched the video of that evil b*tch, and it makes me want to vomit.

IMHO, Keith Olbermann ought to end "Countdown" in a new way: Instead of counting the days since "Mission Accomplished", count the days since Sean Hannity reneged on his offer to be waterboarded for charity.

5. Actually, he counts it each day, but he does it before Oddball.
He says he will keep doing it, too.

You couldn't expect him to close last night without marking the six-year anniversary of "Mission Accomplished."

3. Limbaugh: If you don't survive it, it's murder, and, by the way,
according to the reports, some of the tortured did not survive "it."

Torture is what attempted murder and assault are called when you survive them. In any case, whether the torture is attempted murder or assault, it is illegal even if the president orders it.

6. So making somebody affraid is torture?
Edited on Sat May-02-09 09:05 AM by Tim01
I'm so tired of hearing about the water boarding. So. Everybody is in agreement that intentionally making somebody afraid is torture, right?

7. Immediately after the event, they get a microphone and camera in the face
The question asked directly to each one "Is water boarding torture?"

I can't wait to see the tape.

9. Beware your own worst example
Abuses like torture seem justified and empowering to people disconnected from their own humanity. When Hannity and company coolly claim that water boarding isn't torture they exemplify the lack of responsibility such people take the harm they cause others. We want such people to gain empathy, so that they stop advocating abuse. However, we don't want to abuse them ourselves because we don't believe in torture.

Calling for the torture of Hannity, Coulter, Rush, and their friends is seductive. As people, we fall prey to the same emotions that dominate the ideologies of the right. I had the same initial reaction as the poster of this thread -- line em' all up. Get the Bush Administration, Bill Cristal, and that weasel David Frum in there while we're at it. Dunk them until they squeal and they *finally* understand. But then I spotted the emotional trap that we all have to beware, and reconsidered.

If Hannity follows through with his bragging I'll be impressed, and interested to see whether he has a change of heart. But anyone goading him on, particularly with cash support, should consider whether they are themselves a torturer and have reason for shame. Take responsibility for your feelings and watch where you're headed. You too, Keith.

12. nicely said--however, THEY don't think it's torture
so how am I threatening them if i suggest they try it? They have assured me many many times it is harmless. Of course, i don't agree, but I do believe they should be prepared to back up their claims in some way, since reading the actual laws will not help their cause in the least.
