I have only the vaguest sense of what WSF represents.

It was a South African anarchist worker collective that dissolved in 1999. The OP was not meant to publicize the WSF specifically-- they just had a kick ass logo that fits the May Day theme.

a country where the good of the many come first, and the powerful and privileged are checked by the laws of the land.

Justice and equality are primarily economic issues enforced by laws that balance power.
