Kennedy and Rockefeller absent.

consequences, so they could be voting no now as cover to vote for something else later...probably doubtful, but there is that chance.

The PRESIDENT -- THIER President -- has determined exactly what action needs to be taken to address this current crisis, so what the F*CK are they doing gumming up the works for, or even trying to?!

If I were a Senator, my own personal policy would be, whatever Barack Obama wants, he gets, no questions asked.
