Or is fact-checking only reserved for when Democrats make statements?
I cannot believe the PD published this letter. Or maybe I CAN; I would just figure they'd have the decency to fact-check their fairy tales before printing them as serious letters.
What, exactly, do letter writers James Sickora and William Hickey (Monday) not get about citizens joining together in a common cause? The "tea parties" were not about the recent tax cuts. They were about what the federal government can or will initiate in the future - next week, next month, next year.
President Barack Obama has initiated more spending in the last three months than George W Bush did in eight years. It is unconscionable for our government to saddle the taxpayers with such an outrageous amount of debt.

Hooooooooooo KAY, Mental Maureen. So if I got this right, you're mad at what you THINK Barack Obama is going to do, and you're apparently prone to making blatantly ficticious statements. I see.
Specific examples, please, on how Barack Obama "has initiated more spending in the last three months than George W Bush did in eight years". Specific examples, ma'am. Unless you can come up with how Barack Obama has already blown more than six trillion dollars in three months, you're talking bull paddies, lady, and you're not getting away with it.
