The Hannity $1,000,000 (Million) dollar Water Boarding Challenge
Edited on Thu Apr-23-09 10:59 PM by EJSTES2005
Lets start a "Hannity Money Bomb"

All he has to do is make it thru the deeply thought out carefully put together Bu$h gang approved 1/2 a days dose of water boarding. As described below by National Reviews very own Cliff May earlier today at 06:09 PM :

"According to two sources, both of them very well-informed and reliable (but preferring to remain anonymous), the 180-plus times refers not to sessions of water boarding, but to “pours” — that is, to instances of water being poured on the subject.

Under a strict set of rules, every pour of water had to be counted — and the number of pours was limited.

Also:Water boarding interrogation sessions were permitted on no more than five days within any 30-day period.

No more than two sessions were permitted in any 24-hour period.

A session could last no longer than two hours.

There could be at most six pours of water lasting ten seconds or longer — and never longer than 40 seconds — during any individual session.

Water could be poured on a subject for a combined total of no more than 12 minutes during any 24 hour period.

You do the math.

But two important points:

1) Such detailed rules suggest that serious thought was given to where to draw the line between coercion — “stress and duress” — and torture. You can disagree with where those lines were drawn, but I don’t see how you can say no attempt was made to set limits.

Nor do I see how — except in an Orwellian universe — lawyers from the current administration can prosecute lawyers from the previous administration because they disagree with their legal opinions."

OMG............WOW...... who out there would not put up some hard earned cash to call his bluff and see him try to make it 1/2 a days maximum of 6 pours at 40 seconds a clip......not sure what the approved regulation jug or per pour amount is yet (still researching)

Considering he has never served a day in his blessed life I am even willing to lower the deal to 5 sessions at :30 seconds each with his very own choice of the Bush/Dick/Bybee/Yoo/Rush/FNC approved regulation sized jug.

Only 2-1/2 mins total for $ 1 million to his charity of choice.

Considering of course that he signs off on all of Shepard Smiths lawyers forms first.

It already looks like the Bu$h gang as well as Sean himself approve of the highly thought out deeply values based plan described above.

Mr Olbermann is in for first $1000 per tonights show!!!! I will put up $100. Would even be willing to pay another $49.95 to watch it on PPV

22. It's "Military Families"
But if you're a single Vet living on the streets, you don't get any of Sean's money.

I doubt Hannity would last that long.

5. Let me know where to sign up. I'd pay BIG money to see that.
And, knowing he wouldn't last 10 seconds, it would be a very safe bet. A sure thing.

6. I'd like to see him sleep deprived for several days before it, and
maybe stressed-positioned for awhile to fatigue his body also. He should have to go into the torture with diminished capabilities like the prisoners.

7. Then after he gives up after 1 second
He will jump up and say that torture works, and he was unhurt.

Its a no win situation, as are all situations using torture.

8. You know, reading this, it just kind of makes it more real.
How in the world could this be considered civilized treatment by any measure? Why is there any question about it in the first place? How are we meant to treat other humans? What do our consciences dicatate, REALLY? I am so ashamed.

14. Your All Falling Into Hannity's Trap.....
he's going to refer to comments made by 'liberals' that torture is bad and inhumane - yet they are all putting money on him to go through the torture. If we are against torture - it shouldn't be done on anybody - not even Hannity. Torture is torture and it is not right. Even for Hannity.

Edited on Thu Apr-23-09 11:23 PM by EJSTES2005
He was the one who claimed he would do it for charity. I am simply calling him on his bullshit. Obv he would never agree. Not even for $10 million. He knows that the United States of America has executed Japanese soldiers for doing it, he knows Rayguns DOJ prosecuted a sheriff in TX for doing it to prisoners in 1983. If WJC had done it after OKC or after the 1st WTC he would no doubt be calling it what it is. We all know that. Let him sprint to the cliff. Why try to slow him down when he's obv on a roll ?

15. I have trouble wanting ANYONE to be subjected to waterboarding.
Personally, I regard the SERE training to be extremely misguided. I not only have military experience, but I'm a swimmer (college team) and scuba diver and love any kind of recreation in, on, and under the water ... but am VERY familiar with those instances where I've felt like I was "almost drowning" and have absolutely no doubt whatsoever that waterboarding is hellish indeed.

That said ...

Hannity would make an EXCELLENT subject.
