I wonder what the Teabag masterminds have in store for July 4.
Talk about a holiday tailor made for silly, jingoistic clothing and shallow, flag-waving "patriotism"! The Tax Day teabagging parties were just a preview. I'm betting they'll go all out for the frackin' Fourth of July.

They'll need some organizing image besides tea, which is kind of played out by now. Maybe just the flag, but more likely something else, I'm thinking. I'm sure Glenn Beck & Co. will come up with something hyper-"American". Or have they already?

4. I honestly don't think it will happen. Backlash was more than they
bargained for and they're delusional if they think they had a large success. Timing would be very bad, no one would care or pay attention. Just my opinion.

5. When is the final killing blow to their movement?
I mean, the moment where it is pointed out to them that they are not more American than others just because they wave the flag about? That they can't cite any amendments in the constitution past the 2nd and that nowhere is it written by the founding fathers that their free market wacky libertarian ideas are more American than anything else?

I want that moment...in public...when someone tells them that.

That's when we truly stick a fork in them and their dying astroturf movement (as in bowel movement) finally kicks the bucket.

That will be the anniversary of the Gettysburg Address (Nov. 19, 1863)and we can use a Republican's words to remind them why this country has lasted:

Do you understand what the revolution was about in the first place?

It seems an appropriate time to protest the bailouts. WE should be joining them, not making fun of them but I see the corporate media is already working their divide and conquer tactics on this one.

30. Their effort will backfire on July 4th.
They at least had a logic for Tax Day that was relatable to many Americans. But July 4th is a day when we celebrate being OFF for July 4th. We want to go to the lake, go to the park, BBQ outside, hang out with friends and family, and watch fireworks at dark.

No one will give a damn about the teabaggers on July 4th, except other teabaggers and Fox Noise.
