Turley on Maddow Show "...enforcing Federal Law is not retribution..."
"... interfering with the enforcement of Federal Law is Obstructing Justice." (paraphrased)

His suggestion is that Obama appoint a non-partisan career prosecutor to act as a special prosecutor, to follow the illegality wherever it leads and prosecute those who have committed war crimes.

I agree .... I think Obama is getting bad advice from those intent on protecting from prosecution the CIA NSA and prior Administration officials.

I still support Obama .... I hope he sees the light and changes course on this.

1. A Special Prosecutor is needed in this case. Some sort of justice
must be done.

2. Obama is HIMSELF a constiutional lawyer!
I'm all about giving him benefit of the doubt, but I don't think we can chalk it off to "bad advice." Obama must surely know better.

4. I am sure he is being told to 'make good' with the CIA or they will cause him trouble...
... but sometimes you have to stand up to the intel agencies when they are in the wrong.

5. I am far more concerned that he go after Bush* Cheney & the
rest of those at the top...I can live with him not prosecuting the CIA offenders, though not happy, of course.

3. It's not often that the evidence of war crimes has been admitted in public before an investigation..
As Turley said a few weeks ago, any investigation of war crimes would be the shortest in history as there is a huge amount of evidence to support such charges.
