I know everyone has heard, seen and read about the hunting accident of a foreigner in the Peshtigo area by now. Yes, I said foreigner, what other noun would you use to describe someone from another country who can't read, write or speak the country's language that he came to live in? So, how did he get a hunting license? Or did he have one? Our American boys and girls must take hunting classes to get their license. And think of this: how could a DEAD man shoot both hands of the suspect? The sheriff is not telling it all.

With the resent shooting in the Peshtigo area there are several questions that come to mind about it and a few other things similar in nature.

How did someone that does not speak (and most likely not read) English purchase a hunting license? How did a convicted felon purchase a hunting license? They are not supposed to have weapons so how would one hunt legally?

How does a person that cannot speak (and most likely not read) English get a driver's license? All the traffic signs are printed in English!

Some of the blame for these and similar incidents lies with the folks issuing the various licenses, don't you think? Call your legislators, they need to hear from us all!
