If the Immigration Center Shooter Turns Out To Be A Free Republic Reading RW Terrorist...
Edited on Fri Apr-03-09 04:56 PM by Median Democrat
Will the corporate media cover it up? Remember the guy who killed a bunch of folks at a liberal church? He was found to have a whole bunch of RW literature at his home. Is it just a coincidence that the shooter attacked a center where immigrants were taking citizenship tests?

8. I find it hard to envision a virulently anti-immigrant immigrant.
You could just as easily assume this guy picked an immigration center because somehow he felt that the promise of US citizenship had failed him or the like.

9. I know a lot of legal Mexican immigrants who are strongly opposed to illegal immigration
Immigrants, generally, are the most patriotic Americans you will ever meet.

15. That's a little different, and more understandable.
It would be natural that they'd frown on people attempting to illegally gain what they spent so much effort getting legitimately. Not to mention, the illegal immigration problem likely means that people who don't know better treat them like illegals too.

2. They'll also cover it up
if it turns out he was laid off by IBM to make room for a worker on an H1-B visa for less pay.

5. And immigration probably denied him a stay
which doesn't give anyone to go on a shooting rampage.

If Americans knew what immigration was like towards Americans in other countries they would be just as enraged. In most countries if you over stay your visa, you are jailed indefinitely until family or friends cough up the money to pay your fine and airfare

10. His logical target would have been IBM, where he had just been laid off
But since that almost certainly has controlled access if not security guards, he chose a target guaranteed to have defenseless innocent victims.

12. What wouldn't have surprised me....
is if the killer had turned out to be an embittered immigrant-hating white dude. So now, I'm just not going to speculate, as the profile seems an unlikely one.

14. Oh, for crying out loud, how much do we really know about him?
How much of the rumored stuff now flying around about him will prove to be true vs. false?
